What these numbers mean

Entry speed measures a download from the Russian site. Country speed measures a download from that server through the Russian web server. First-byte time includes server processing, so it is not a network ping.

This is a short HTTP check of the web path: browser → Russian site → selected server. It does not test the VPN protocol, UDP or CDN, and it cannot guarantee the same speed in the app. Even when TwoHop is connected, routing rules may send this request outside the VPN. The US probe uses a separate SSH tunnel and also differs from the VPN path.
